9-10 April 2022 – In-person presentation on 451 (RAAF) Squadron at the Hard Fought: Australia In The Mediterranean Theatre 1940-1945 4th Biennial Two-Day Conference

Adam attended the conference in Melbourne, Victoria to present his paper titled Just the Right Amount of War? The operations of 451 (RAAF) Squadron from Corsica, 1944. You can see the conference program and details of Adam’s talk, and those of other speakers here.

Adam joined Paul Woodadge for a livestream discussion about Australian Spitfire squadrons in Normandy (this was a longer version of the part presented on the 6 June livestream). You can see the recording on Paul’s WW2TV YouTube channel.


6 June 2020 – WW2TV DDay livestream

In collaboration with Paul Woodadge, Adam spoke about 453 (RAAF) Squadron’s participation in the Normandy campaign on the 76th anniversary of the landings. A number of world-famous military historians, including Neil Barber, Andrew Roberts, Peter Caddick-Adams, James Holland, and John McManus participated. Unfortunately Adam’s section didn’t save in the recording.
